Castaways Sculpture Awards
Saturday 22 October - Sunday 30 October 2022
The City’s iconic Castaways Sculpture Awards celebrates artistic innovation and environmental awareness. Castaways is an annual outdoor sculptural exhibition showcasing artworks created from repurposed materials. Castaways Sculpture Awards 2022 will consist of three exhibitions, with a prize pool of $26,000. An impressive 78 sculptures will be exhibited as part of Castaways 2022. This includes 31 works in the Main Exhibition, three works from our Guest Artist, 25 works in the Maquette and Small Sculpture Exhibition, and 19 works in the Schools Competition. Channel 7 Rockingham Beach Cup 2022
Saturday 13 November - Sunday 14th November 2022
Don’t miss Australia’s only beach racing carnival, plus a massive weekend of entertainment on Rockingham Foreshore with the must see beach horse racing on the Sunday. Tickets are available for licenced beachside area - the Palm Beach Oasis, which boast a range of food, beverage and entertainment options. The beach racing spectacle can also be viewed from the free Community Carnival in Churchill Park, featuring a range of family friendly entertainment throughout the weekend; the popular Fashions on the Foreshore competition on the main stage, food and artisan markets, music and a family friendly Outdoor Cinema on the Saturday night.
